3d ruins - reworked

Redone version of an 3d enviroment I've been working on !!!!!

The story for this is that these are the lost ruins of the grate keeper. inside holds a locket with the key to the grate keepers realm. Th grate keeper is an ancient black dragon that looks over the souls passing between life and death. The grate keeper even had the power to take away or give life.

If you look close in the back you can see a cube that glows blue in the center, that is what holds the locket.

Done in maya 2009, and rendered with mental ray.

Plz don't use without permission.

I like the plants but their branches look flat, like they need more shading. The texturing on the walkway looks too flat in my opinion, and the bump mapping on it and the caves walls itself are just a little too strong. The specularity for the stone on the very right of the image is also too strong an bright, maybe tone that down a little. But I do like the ambiance of the image and it's a good piece nonetheless.

Definate improvement from the older one. The cave walls look much better. My only complaint might be the plants, but its very small. Great improvement.
