Most of the time, our comics are based pretty loosely on reality, or at least something we find funny. This time, it's pretty much spot on, Carlos really has named his car the Britney-mobile and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to inanimate object affection, or as it is otherwise known, Weight Companion Cube Syndrome.

Weighted Companion Cube Syndrome is a serious affliction that has been linked to social isolation, name-calling, and in some rare cases, awesomeness. Adding emotional value to everyday objects is what separates mankind from the animals. Well, that or the whole opposable thumbs and intelligence thing, but mainly the emotional value bit.

And thus begins our first story arc, hope nobody was expecting something a little more epic than a trip to a store.
