Daria Model Sheet

Share

Been a while since I made a model sheet. This one is for another Reptile House character, Zephy's best friend Daria the coral snake.

Daria Silverheels is Zephy Vasek's best friend, the unofficial manager for her band Wyld Side and occasional babysitting assistant. The two have had a sisterly bond for as long as either of them could remember. In contrast to her friends loud rocker personality Daria is more of a stereotypical mild-mannered nerd and bookworm with an interest in the typical nerdy pursuits. She even runs her own vlog and podcast show about these things. Despite this she's almost never bullied or picked on because the bullies are actually scared of her. Besides the fact that she's a venomous snake, she's beaten up everyone who've tried to bully or harass her, including her schools resident mean-girl Valerie.

She has an intense phobia of snakes despite being one herself; an irony she's fully aware of. Even more ironic her favorite food is fried rattlesnake. She loves the color turquois and likes to wear turquois stone jewelry and turquois-colored clothes. While she's proud of her Navajo/Apache heritage, she's no fan of the Dances With Wolves at-one-with-nature "noble savage" image her people have. It's occasionally the subject of a rant on her vlog and podcast shows. Being the more level-headed of the two, she keeps Zephy's wilder impulses in check and helps her stay grounded in reality whenever she comes up with a zany idea.
