Calling All Heroes! A killer is on the loose!

Coming into Strongstead Hills from the southwest, Rubik Scrambler (as he is known) is a walking enigma. With a seemingly harmless plastic gun slung across his back and a magic 8-ball by his side, he has nonetheless blazed a trail of destruction on the way to an unknown objective. It simply makes no sense - what hidden tricks does he have up his sleeve? Those who’ve seen him and lived have reported that he didn’t seem to even be human, but that can’t be the case… Right?

Rubik is a character I’ve had for a year or two - CJ Lockhart was actually an earlier version of the same concept. (Look at all the details that stayed!) I struggled for a while to come up with a place to put him, but now that chance came! Thanks so much to @totally-inkish for finally giving this character a home!

As for the card art, I’m really psyched about how the design came out. (Not too sure about the character art itself, but it’ll do.) I opted for a 1980s throwback look, but with red and orange hues better befitting a more foreboding tone. Overall it’s supposed to look like a movie poster. I love my vector graphics program - I technically could’ve done all of that in Procreate, but it would’ve been much more painful.
