Well looks like we will have a winner for the first or second place, I had similar idea just a character concept but nah I decided to spice it a little and try to turn it into splash art instead

I have a tendency to upload the WIP:s quite late cause I want to make sure I'll be able to finish the final piece, before the deadline, before I post the WIP :P

I thought this was great and i'm sure Jazza will love it too!!

The owl looked a lot like the ones in "Legend of the Guardians"

It has a nice realism but still cartoony enough for the contest.

And yeah, Ollies' part barn owl and the main character from "Legend of the Guardians"(had to google, I haven´t seen it) is a barn owl! Glad you could see that!

I think I made it a bit too "realistic". I just painted and painted, and I really had to stop myself from keep adding more and more details :P
