I decided to make my own version of Ariel. I went with a more animalistic and speculative zoology approach to the concept of a mermaid, like perhaps they were descendants of ancient, extinct human species but went a different direction than us homo sapients. Also, the necklace she’s wearing has shark fangs as decorative charms.
