Interesting design, a lot of arms that give the impression of a creature which escapes average conventions and definitions.
Quite a poetic description, i was under the impression that Corvus was based on a crow, but her back story is that of a dove with an identity disorder who was bullied by its peers?
Or maybe it was always a dove but since that flying rat (AKA a pigeon/dove, interesting how a symbol of peace soon became just a plague) was covered in tar it appeared black like a crow and since it was found near a cadaver the comparison became all the more apparent, even if crows have a varied diet and are not limited to scavenging, stereotypes, but then if it is really a blackened dove then the peak would give her away...
What's the story behind the grey king?
Great drawing btw.
It's more about symbolism then her literally being a dove crow. Like I said, religious symbolism influences my art, what not, and that Grey king fellow is me. I suppose a more literal term to describe her would be a shapeless entity that possesed a pile of nonsentient, organic material that acts more of a casing than a body, and the reason she apears as a crow is that's what she associated herself with, therefore the reason her true form is crow like. Again though I'm the Grey king, she is my mascot, and what not.
Also her head is twisted upside down, incase your wondering.
