Weiss the Bat

Share

Sigh, so I guess I finally did it and decided to revisit and redesign my VERY 1ST SONIC OC.
Yes, I made Sonic OCs, lots of them, I was 13 once and I'm not ashamed of it.
After reading the IDW Sonic Comics and loving them and lewding goodest girl Whisper the Wolf, I need to draw another Sonic related thing.
So the story behind why Weiss exists.
When I used to lurk on DA back in 2005 and 2006, I was heavily into Sonic, and I saw a lot of Sonic OCs made throughout the years.
Everyone stuck to the "main three" of Hedgehog, Foxes, and Echidna.
That got boring to look at really fast, so I wanted to think a bit outside of the box and picked a bat as I quite liked Rouge for totally non-sexual reasons in my young teenage mind.
When I first made Weiss he looked edgy as fuck, so I had redesigned him many times over.
I no long have his original picture, and the last picture I have of him is a tattered mess, so I just kinda started from scratch with this version of Weiss.
I wanted a badass sneaking ninja suit for Weiss, so I looked to Metal Gear for reference and I wasn't disappointed.
The design for his swords I found through google and I thought they'd be a fit for him.
If there is one thing I'm most proud of on this piece is the fact that I really love how the male anatomy turned out on this.
For once, it looks like I drew an actually male character and not a femboy.
I also drew Weiss more of an anthro and less like a Sonic/Mobian style, because fuck those circle heads and sticky limbs.
But yes, I'm happy with the way Weiss turned out, hopefully he looks cooler than he is "edgy".
