Terraria : Night's edge

Share

just a fanart about the creation of "Night's edge" which is one of the iconic weapon in the game called Terraria.

- it would be awesome if I know how to do animations.. the pic is showing a forming night edge through the sacrifices of 4 other swords...

- experimenting... since this picture was originally painted on my phone and further stretched it up using photoshop (from 200KB stretched to 3MB) I can't really tell if that process actually cause my pic quality to be degraded if viewed on large computer screen... blurriness of some edges is certain..

- this is my first attempt to ever trying such art style.. you know the particle effects.. and poster like item arrangement... hope it didn't sucks too bad.. XD

- sorry for the lack of background as it will make the pic to be too messy..

the picture is perfect, all the weapons that are disintegrating to create it.

it's me or am i seeing just 3 swords? masamune, jungle and fire, what am i missing?
the corruption/crimson sword?

For one, I love the fact that you're a Terraria fan, for two, I love the fact that your Terraria art including this one is true to the game. Also, for three, Terraria is sooooo much better than Minecraft in my opinion xD... Superb work, I agree that if you could show it animated it'd be epic, but I must say this piece of art clearly shows the process, you have done justice to Night's Edge. =]
