It's the Mongolian Death Worm as it appears in Cryptid Catchers. (this is still just a rough draft)
As shown in the picture, each one of the diamond-shaped parts on its side is actually a hidden arm. (we don't really know much about the Mongolian Death Worm since it doesn't have a highly-extensive history that we can go by, so I used my artistic liberty here)
The spikes on its back are retractable, so that that the Mongolian Death Worm becomes more aerodynamic and is able to attack quicker. The spikes serve as a defensive protection from enemy attacks, so they pop right back up just before the enemy lands a hit. An example of those back spikes is shown on the cross-section diagram that I have made.
Since the actual size of the Mongolian Death Worm hasn't been fully established yet (the various stories about it gives it a length of anything from 2 - 30+ ft. long), I'm going to have the length of the Mongolian Death Worm be 30 ft. in the game because I believe that big monsters = big awesomeness.
Another reason why the Mongolian Death Worm is going to be huge in the game is simple: it's the Mongolian DEATH Worm! When something has the word "death" as part of its official name, then it has to be very threatening! So I figured that a giant Mongolian Death Worm would be a lot more intimidating than a small Mongolian Death Worm.
