Chibi Knight Pixel Edition

Share

This is my entry for the Super Chibi Knight fan art contest. I decided to recreate a screenshot of the game, with a few liberties, in my own pixel art style. It's sort of how I'd imagine it if the game was a multi-plane hack and slash or beat 'em up on a SNES rather than a Zelda II-esque game.

The logo is what took me the most time to recreate and the whole thing was created in Paint. Yup, good, old Paint. The rest of it wasn't too bad because I used a similar style to some old sprites I'd made for a, since cancelled, sidescroller that I was working on.

Looks awesome! I dig your style and the look of the whole thing.
My only real issue is that the side railing is facing the camera head on when the rest of the picture is in a slight top down angle.

Great job!

That's fair enough, I could make a quick edit to it tomorrow. Thanks!

Looks great, wish I knew how to do pixel art :D
Good luck in the contest !

TheEnkian responds:

Thanks! It just takes a bit of practice and doesn't require even buying photoshop to start progressing :)

Looks really good. I wish you luck.

TheEnkian responds:

Thank you!

Awesome!

TheEnkian responds:

Thanks! Really glad you like it!
