So back in 2015 there were many rumors regarding xcom 2 ideas, I had my own and this was one of them, I will openly admit I have a tendency to explore darker themes mainly on more psychological, in respect I was inspired by babylon 5 'Retrospective in real time' where the lead faces a gradual break down of his mentality. Given Xcom features aliens that wield mind control it begged the question what would happen if the aliens captured the person that was at one point involved in interrogating them?

I think at someone level xcom 2 should have taken up something similar to this either vahlen or someone "turned" to assist the alien agenda be scientist or exist as propaganda making xcom prisoners remorseful for what they have done giving you the choice to rescue or assassinate them.

This depiction of mind control is pretty timid compared to how other people show that theme but still some people have viewed this as "controversial" in part.
