less is more!

One really needs to view full size to appreciate how much detail there actually is! I really like the idea you were going for, but proportion and distance wise it doesn't add up and that takes away from the effect. Still well done! :D

I'd say

that this piece is, on the whole, the most pleasing to look at of all the friday flood submissions this week, it's just wonderfully uncluttered and aesthetically pleasant

there's just something about the overall composition that resonates really well with me, I won't bother trying to explain it further but you probably recognize the effect from your own experiences with others' art

good job, &c.,

Very simple but quite interesting

The title says it all.

Nice idea

It's an interesting idea, but I think you could have made more out of this. The snow for example is plain white, which isn't very convincing. You could have added some ups and downs, some little lumps of snow here and there to make it look like real snow.

Also the hand and the foot are pretty small compared to the persons face.

It's a funny idea, but one needs a lot of fantasy to really see the avalanche here. Without the title I would have thought it's simply an unfinished picture.

Too bad, because the eyes, hand and foot themselves look very promising.
