Fhtagn Adventures: Shig

Just some concept art for a caracter of a fake game project of mine, wich would have gameplay in the style of the first Final Fantasy RPGs and be set in a H.P. Lovecraft-style scenario. He (she? it?) would be one of the playable members of the hero party.

The characters name is Shigfngkl Giu Glgmkb III. (Shig for short). With his age of little more than 3000 years, he is still considered a youngling by his kind, a race of immortal pandimensional evil tentacle monsters. Driven by the sole desire to show his fellow immortal pandimensional evil tentacle monsters his true potential, Shig plans to take over the tri-dimensional zone of time and space, starting with a little moldy rock floating in the void, inhabited by an inferior species surprisingly rich on scientific knowledge, but lacking the wisdom to use it properly.

In game, Shig would be the typical "glass cannon"-type character, capable of dishing out insane amounts of damage, but unable to take many blows, a weakness made even worse by the fact that, other than his two fellow teammates, he would not be supplied with an "action"-bar, but would instead consume his own health to use attacks. Even with his passive ability to absorb part of the damage he does as health and the power to drain the life of weakened foes directly, this makes him an extremely fragile character.

Why do I even bother working out such details?
Well, its surprisingly entertaining to do.
I will upload The other two characters sooner or later.

TeslaWrench responds:
