This is a project i had for class. It's Made in 3dsmax during school. With only 3 days into the class i am able to make this little ship ^_^ i love edible polys. So far it's better than splines. Let me know how it looks so far ^_^ i would love to hear.

very interesting i must say , i rated it a 3 , it works for a 4 too , but try this : use smoothing on the mountains , results are much better , also when applying the texture on the terrain , u sense that it looks kinda plane from time to time , like the texture isn't sticking out such cases in the material editor , in every material there is a "bump" option that's usually at "30" u can apply the same texture u used in the "bump" field and chance the blur from 1 to 0.001 and after making a render you will see that the texture's surface looks much more realistic , as if the plane 2D bumps have become 3D :) , hope i managed to explain this . and always use high resolution textures in order for close ups to look much more realistic , also i sense more than one light present in the project itself ...that's great , but you should turn on the shadow option only on one of them lights in order to achieve realism , because i notice there are 2 shadows on the terrain ...

but all in all i respect your work , i sense you do it with care , and as long as you do it with love and pleasure you will always manage to satisfy yourself and the people :)

good luck my friend . good job
