Little Red Riding Hood

Share

I drew Little Red Riding Hood before, way back in 2009.

At that time I had her with guns, missiles and grenades.

So after 10 years I'm bringing it back to its fable core but with a twist of magic and morbid horror.

Hope y'all Enjoy! Cheers!

Could this illustration represent the death of innocence, because the little girl, who represents innocence, is taking the flower, but she is crying but in a subtle way, which could be the lead to adulthood, and the wolf, who represents reality, is ready to kill her, for that childhood is whisked away from the duties and worries of adulthood. So with that altogether, this picture could represent that the child is scared of reality, to the point that she is crying is a subtle way. Overall you made this very well, to the point where a person can really think about it deeply. Great job with the design of it. I hope you can do more of it.

Amazing work, though I'm half expecting her pull out a bomb or an AK-47 and gank the wolf.

Anyway, impressive work.

Those teeth! :D Such a contrast between the two. Simple symbolism, but the positioning is just perfect, and that detail level just really sets it apart from any other kind of Red Riding Hood fanart I might've seen before. Is that a tear on her face though...? Maybe she already knows her grandma's a wolf. Maybe she just succumbed to her fate. Gave up. Decided it doesn't matter after all.

Suddenly this all doesn't seem so simple after all... heavy impressions.
