Old Man Jawbreaker Head Sculpt

Old Man Jawbreaker, a old veteran who is forced to return into war. And he's pissed off because it. He wanted to celebrate Christmas with his grandkids, but instead he has to go and fight off the degenerate hoards that threaten the world.

He's going to cave some heads in. And you bet it will be bloody.

This was one of those ideas I wanted to sculpt out onto the page. A concept of a old man who's tired and mad.

Details to note are that he had his entire jaw replaced with metal overtime, due to taking direct head shot attacks which broke his jaw alot. (also gives me an excuse to make his lower jaw really distinctive bone wise)

It needs a touch of clean up, especially since it's a tiny bit cringlely at the nose. But that's going to be a while away. So for now, I just wanted to share him.

In any case, any feedback would be nice. Especially since I think I do need to clear out some areas, while trying to keep him looking old and mad. And keeping that strong contrast shader I've made, which is the main thing that really needs work. Trying to capture a dark intense atmosphere, even for a protagonist like character. He's meant to scare the shit out of you

He looks really grumpy. Interesting face.

TankTheta responds:

Thanks. I wanted to make someone natively 3D who really has such a strong amount of expression.
Most 3D characters lack the extremes 2D can go, so I pushed to try and really hit something like it. Not perfect, but it was certainly fun
I might upload his power armour next, he's got a really violent looking one that I really love.
(And to think that armour's design began from wanting to make a more distinctive "Space Marine")
