This is really beautiful but also somewhat dark... part of me keeps seeing the implications beneath this really wonderfully drawn and colored piece...
The squid looks as if though she's knocking at the glass in desperation, with her expression either saying "please let me out" or "why am I here? who are you? what is happening??".
I really like the way she's designed to. She's so pretty but so eerie and lonely looking... The title itself kind of gives it away too... it's a laboratory. Is she being experimented on? Or just carefully observed and hopefully unharmed?
