This was a quick sketch I did to explore the lips' form.

However, I messed around with the lighting as I did so and really liked the way it turned out.

You can see how quick it was by the style there - it becomes fairly obvious that my style has it's roots in manga-type stuff, especially with the shape and proportions of the eyes.

I was going to put it in the art portal, but I thought it'd probably be better if I waited for when I've finished a complete work - although almost all of my drawings are quick.

The essence of what I am trying to achieve is a high standard of drawing (i.e. in proportion, decent shading and detail) within a short amount of time - thus allowing me to put what's in my head onto the paper as fast as I can.
