"Portrait of Gerald Gertz, smiling"

The lore of this drawing:

Gerald Gertz had always loved rock and roll. He especially liked the bass parts, So, at 14, he got a summer job, helping to groom small, yappy dogs to buy a bass guitar.

He was always careful to put his bass on it's stand, or in it's case. He could tune it perfectly by ear, but couldn't actually play it very well, though he practiced diligently.

After graduating high school, Gerald went on tour with a band called "Sladge Hummer" (as a grip, and bass technician), where he became friends with bass player, Jamari "Monster" Thomas.

Gerald realized He'd found his ideal place in the world. He'd tune 'em and Jamari would Play 'em. It was a perfect symbiosis, and they both knew it.

That's why, at every Sladge concert, Gerald Gertz can be seen, up-stage, right, basking in glory.
