draw Marshall Lee
If you're accepting ideas for the next drawing...
Seeing a guitar battle of the boy and regular Marseline would be awesome.
This is great, the background could be better, and the hair seems to leave her face pretty far out. Otherwise great.
That is one of my fav cartoon network shows!!
Demon Kitty (not a kitty, I know)
I'm not familiar with the character, I'm just joking. So, this really is a new style you used, and I really like it. I saw a bit of an episode of Adventure Time and I say this soft and grainy look sets the mood quite well. It's a realistic approach to a cartoon while still maintaining its cartoony feel.
Although the background doesn't have any complexity to it, it doesn't need it anyway. It reminds me of those old paintings of Jesus (you know, the ones grandmothers usually have next to or above their beds). If it weren't for the description, I would say it was handpainted. This, of course, means you're becoming closer to achieve mastery in CG.
The reference to old paintings of Jesus I made pretty much describes what i think about this drawing: it's supposed to deliver sweetness to the viewer, and it does, but also a bit of creepiness. Don't take me wrong. When I say it resembles something, it doesn't mean it is what it resembles.
It is kind of scary in a way, but I don't think it matters to its quality. I wouldn't call it a flaw. A pseudo-flaw, maybe. But again, a review isn't about detecting flaws. It's about what's good and what's not so good. Art teachers are the ones who only point out the flaws because they have no time to review something thoroughly, so because I have the chance to compliment what's good, I will say it and this drawing reeks of goodness.
*whispers* - but it's still slightly creepy.

P.S.: 1 hour + 1 layer + SAI = This ----> You = DA BOSS
can you also make cake the cat?
I'll most likely try some more AT characters in the near future, so I probably will!
