This is so awesome! I really thought this was a painting at first.
Do you use a scalpel and some kind of curved knife to do this? You even have the pink in the eye, the caruncle, in it.
Recommended to be scouted for sure. It's weird that you haven't already been with the other pumpkin entries you've made. Maybe you need a bigger portfolio? I would love to see more from you.

I used 2 basic wood carving tools, they were scalpel-ish. There are curved blades in the set, but they weren't wide enough, so I mostly just used the straight ones.
Thanks for the recommendation! As far as I can tell, I need a minimum of four entries to be able to be scouted. I can't really draw very well, it was hard enough to make alterations on this, so it might take until next Halloween.
