A Grimataur Lurks Under Our House

Author Comments

"A grimataur lurks under our house.
His name is Franquitious Biralasquious The Third.
We call him Frank.
He is pretty scary, but we ended up making an agreement. As he needed a place to stay, he would live in that hole and he wouldn't eat our souls. Pretty handy. Sometimes, when he is in a good mood, he bakes cookies for us."

A grim grimataur for the art contest!
The scaly skin is there, it's just the plain artstyle that does not let me make so many details!

It got showcased in the winners video! That makes me really happy!

I love your art! What did you use to make this?

Stopsignal responds:

Oh, sorry to take so long to answer, kind person! Photoshop!
Using a variety of textures for most of the effects!

I love it...^_-

Stopsignal responds:

Thanks a lot, good person!

This is one of my favorite entries; I love the cartoonish style and especially the background. It has loads of character and is very well put together. Amazing work! :-)

Stopsignal responds:

Thanks for the review! It's great to hear that you liked it! I need to practice more of these kind of backgrounds, they look awesome.

I will not lie I LOVE the amount of character in this drawing and the style it is done it has a lot of charm to it!

Stopsignal responds:

Thanks a lot! I'm very glad you liked it d:
It's encouraging to hear that, as i aimed for that thing indeed!

I love it! I absolutely adore the style that you chose, and I'm sure it'll be one of a kind in the contest!
4.5/5 because i zoomed in and it gets kinda pixelated...

Stopsignal responds:

Thanks for the great review! Yeah, maybe leaving it pixelated wasn't the best idea. It's a little bit easier to paint with pixels though, which is great!
Anyways, one grows up better with every review! Thanks! d:
