i really got inspired by pc98 games and i wanted to do a rendition of the gary fight in bedeviled in that style! at first i was trying to translate bedevilled into japanese so i could do a play on words for the title but eventually decided on english.

the first thing i did was the background...which is based loosely off of the clock tower rubble at the beginning of bayonetta 3.....i kinda struggled with this but it was worth

then i decided since the planet that blew up was derse it needed to be purple so i fucked with the colors and contrast and such for a while until i liked it.... about 99% of this was done with one brush sized 2 (yotti pen on csp)

finally i put it into photoshop and limited the colors to 16 like a real pc98 screenshot!

this was fun to do id love to do more projects like this eventually..next time id probably start out with the limited pallette so i could be more deliberate with my choices
