Sam Schieffer meets his original self [2017]

Sam Schieffer is a former Roman spy who appeared in the 3 Asterix games developed by Etranges Libellules, although he originated very long ago in a comic book with a brief appearance (named Vitriolix), I tried to copy that look on the left. In Asterix & Obelix XXL he looked the way I drew him on the right, but was unnamed. in Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum he has a hi-tech attire and he introduces himself as Sam Schieffer. In XXL1 and 2 he explains game mechanics, and in XXL2 he also saves the two Gauls from inevitable death. He returns with the XXL2 appearance in Asterix at the Olympic Games, now retired from his tutorial role but unlockable for minigames.
His comic name and facial features heavily suggest he is a Gaul, but how he became a spy for Caesar himself was never explained.
