-EDIT 28-5-2020- What the fuck? For some reason the score dropped from a 4.19 to a 3.28! That’s just dumb.

One of my best attempts at realistic art. I made this to reminisce over that time I woke up at, well, 6:30am. You like?

stevetherapper responds:

Dude, you gotta stop overreacting. I never said I thought you were a dumbass. All I said was that complaining about age ratings makes you look like a dumbass.

I guess I’m just gonna give you a moment to calm down, cause you’re just overreacting. Ok?

Edit: Ok I guess..

Great BG! I love it!

stevetherapper responds:

Thank you!

Damn you should become a BG designer
Edit: Okay now you are. : =)

stevetherapper responds:

Maybe someday :3

this Is a “great step up” to your traditional art. Will you be doing this more frequently?

stevetherapper responds:

Thanks. Yeah, probably. I’ll still be doing the usual simple art that I do.

This really looks pretty serene... simple shapes, but effective, and especially with the reflective water. Curious now, is the reflection first a copy of the city flipped around, then faded? White layer on top of it? Just interesting to know these things. :)

The gradient background works well too, and the light... reminds you it really doesn't take that advanced mechanics to make something like good, just the right combinations. The large sun, the bits of color... man. I'm impressed. The more I look at this the more the little things seem to matter. The placement's just right. The sun setting into the ocean. The way the two curves overlap, the somewhat darker color tone to everything that makes it both dreamy but somewhat realistic...

This is really pretty good...

stevetherapper responds:

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah that’s the ocean, just flipped the art around and put a cyan background on the flipped art to make it look like water. Technically, what you asked me, the answer is yes.

Yeah, I’m glad you liked this, it’s one of those things that I tried to make realistic, even though I think you failed, but from a review coming from an honest reviewer, apparently I didn’t really fail. :3

Thanks again for your review!
