This was my first attempt at a portrait and also a first attempt at a charcoal medium. Decided to take this route because this drawing was originally done in graphite and then, on a walk home had some snow melt on it which then ruined it. The replacement was done in charcoal to bring out the differences between lights and darks. Sadly this won't be on the portal until i get someone to refer it. ah well... if you see this, i hope you like it.
