Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 192 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

As someone who tried swimming under water, in the ocean, with my eyes open, I can say it doesn't really sting until you surface; then out of no where it's like you got shampoo in your eyes. But if it's fresh water then their eyes should be fine. Also I'm curious to know how you did the water surface texture, in this picture.

SouredApple responds:

If I remember correctly, I used a simple rough water color brush and used the base color of the water as shadows with bits of white and teal as the highlights

Well, as a guy who loves water well done in art and yuri i don't even have anything to say, this is awesome, plus the lighting effect is really nice, ggwp m8

This is a great piece, I love the composition and the color, water effect looks great too. Though, it might be a good idea to downsize your work when you export the final product because right now it's 8000 by 3000 and that can take a while to load, it's also huge when you open up. All the best, cheers.

SouredApple responds:

Thanks for the feedback, you're right a 40 meg png is a little excessive. I wasn't aware when i uploaded so it's now compressed into a jpeg with the same dimensions.

SouredApple responds:

Thank you :)
