my second attempt at creating a glass with liquid. this time i used NURBS for the glass which indeed gave better result then using polygons. to create the water i used Maya's N-dynamics system.
I'm overall pleased with the results (especially the render-time which i managed to reduce alot :D).
the failed parts are the shadows casted by the glass and water which were simple transparent while they should have been caustic, but i dont understand that suffeciently.
