why are there so many pictures of Memphis' exposed guts

Blue flesh but.. Red blood. I’m a little bamboozled

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s an alien from outer space. That or he is a hybrid, or even a Demi god of some sort.
If I were Grant, I would always look over my shoulder. We don’t know what Memphis true intentions are. Let’s just hope whatever he is, that he comes in peace.
