Snoot Flash Sketch (Animate CC 2019)

Share

As requested by StickKid08, I decided to reinstall Animate CC and take a swing at drawing Snoot with that version of Flash. I used the 2019 CC, since the Adobe Creative Cloud, much like most "programs as a service" tend to only allow one to update software, and not go back to an older version.

I personally was pretty alright with Animate CC 2017, as that is the one I started to use when I learned how to use Flash earlier this year. However, once they rolled out with the 2019 version, things kind of went south, and I can still see them after reinstalling it. It lags a lot for whatever reason, there are still some issues with the pen, it isn't compatible with a lot of things prior to AS3, and the new layout changes are a bit weird.

I can actually understand these changes though. Since Flash Player has a doomsday of 2020, and more larger companies have been using Flash more for animations then multimedia applications and webgames, they have been shifting there focus to meet this new criteria, and I can honestly respect that. If you want to get in to animation and HTML 5 based web games, then Animate CC 2019 is probably your best option, but for me, I think I'm just gonna stick with Flash 8 for as long as I can.

I doubt the people of the Art Portal want to see another sketch of Snoot, so I'm gonna keep this one off of the portal like the last one.

EDIT 2/7/2019: I just relized I read StickKid's comment wrong. lol
