So, I've recently been following an artist named @bluethebone, who draws characters from anime and even video games in a retro anime style. It gave me the idea to draw the main Sonic characters if the series was made in the '80s. While they mostly look the same as they do in the classic style, what I did was make their designs a little more bulbous with less detail(especially with the hands). I used Dr. Slump and the older illustrations of Mega Man as references.
