The rocks and cliffs here have the same texture as the ones in your 'Power of Nature' painting, which isn't a bad thing, of course, but I kind of wish you gave them a different look. It's a good thing to experiment with some different textures. Even with that being said, I cannot argue with how detailed the rocks and cliffs are with cracks and how you made them look jagged in all of the right places. Also, the light brown color of the rocks and the light blue color of the sky go well together, so good job on that.
By the way, was this entire painting based off of your friends idea or did you add a couple things yourself?
This piece was done simultaneously with the Power of Nature so I was doing the same thing over xD LOL. And he asked me to critique his work and I kinda went off with it. I can link his original work for you to see.
We need to thank Yveo for being the inspiration behind such a piece of art as this :)
Of course! You can check out his work right here. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Magic-469425575 This piece was my interpretation of his idea.
