King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard has been my favorite band for a long time now, they've been a huge inspiration to my work. I saw that they're doing a new tour soon, so naturally I just had to do some kind of tribute. My favorite song, Lord of Lightning vs. Balrog, is a 13 minute long epic about a cruel wizard's battle with a massive demon. Go listen to it if you haven't heard it yet! It always seemed so strange that the music video never seemed to do the song justice, so this is my attempt to put art to the music.
Go see them play live at King's Theater, Brooklyn NY at 8:00 PM on Friday October 22!
