The Ocean Path

Did this today in circa 2 hours at a place that offers free-painting time with all the supplies taken care of. Acrylics on canvas 12 x 16 inches. Bottom is actual picture of the painting, top is color-corrected by me in GIMP as I realized I had not used enough blue (especially in highlights) to make it look more underwater - instead this could be taken as strange canyons ;P

Thanks :) I've found over the years that if I plan ahead (get references for the subject matter), constrain my time and just GO and draw/paint, I'll get better results than painstakingly poring over every detail. This one's a clear demonstration of that idea. (and it's more fun that way too :P)
