dame near scared me when i 1st saw it

but when i kept looking at it i relized its just a water painting and i must say impressive

Nice

I really like your style its abstract and gritty.

this reminds me of Orphan

which i consider a good thing

Interesting

I like the contrast between the background and the 'aminal'. The aminal itself is very intriguing. It looks like a cross between a goat and a fox to me. This piece of art looks like it belongs in a fairy tale. I do agree with KariEternalWanderer that something seems to be missing, but perhaps I just get that feeling because of the vagueness of the background in comparison with the aminal. Either way, it is a very lovely piece of art, done in a unique style. Good job :).

Shrewm responds:

Thanks, I appreciate all of that. I am thinking now that I should have done something to tie them together. They are two different scans, and I played around with a shadow, but I thought it looked overdone. Maybe a few tufts of grass covering a leg would do it.

This looks great...

... although it feels like something is missing. I like the detail in the animal and the color and detail in the abstract backround. I can litterally sense the effort that you put into this picture. I'm not sure what it is but it feels like a small detail is missing. Maybe it's just me. But one thing's for sure, this picture earned it's well-deserved 10 for effort, effect and presentation. Great work.
