Here's a a few ghoulish jack-o-lanterns to celebrate the season!

Aw, those are fun! I really like them, and I'm curious as to what inspired you to draw a jack o' lantern/ghost hybridization.

My personal favorite is the one on the left. You made very good use of darker shades of orange with highlights of white to create a pumpkin with real depth. There doesn't seem to be as much colour variation in the other two, but I do like how each one has its own personality.

The dark aura around them, while a simple addition, makes for a nice touch. And WHOA~! Boy, was I ever surprised when I clicked the pic and it enlarged like 10x! These fellows are downright enormous... @ __ @

Very fun stuff, shoKawa! Always happy to see more from you.

shouKawa responds:

Well...I was trying to think of something spooky which is pretty well outside my norm and pumpkin heads floating with ghostly ease came to mind first. I'd really like to do this again on black paper because I think the effect will be better. Ah, yes! I like the one on the left best too :D They certainly are very large! I was surprised myself to see how big the picture came out. I'm trying out a new camera and not sure if I like it or will be able to sync my brain with it ;) Thanks so much for your review! I always look forward to seeing what you think of my work! I'm glad you like this one :D
