I'm guessing the title was supposed to be a reference to Beezlebub. I'm not quite sure if that's the same figure as the Devil himself. This guy actually looks more like a deranged Pikachu. Anyway, this is a great picture. Dude, that shouldn't be in a children's book of any kind. That's scary to me as an adult!
This looks a lot like an engraving. It seems like something you'd see in the Middle Ages. You have designed this character very well. It's great that you are so creative. Even this thing's hairs are creepy.

Another sketch that I fleshed out some more. I actually wasn't too fond of this piece but now it's kinda growing on me.
Might be one of my new characters in an upcoming children's horror book. Who knows.
man i wish this ugly little gremlin had color. the crazy thing is, this image inspires me to kill whatever that thing is. i mean look at how miserable it looks. hopefully it's not the author's self reflection o_O
