Pico by Tom Fulp

A commission from JohnnyGuy for his album Pico School OST. Text was done by Johnny, but the rest was done by me with colored pencil and referencing off of this piece by Rovertarthead. Original character by TomFulp, founder of Newgrounds.com

I hope everyone likes it, and I hope I did the original design justice.

Also I can't draw guns. PEACE OUT, Y'ALL

Update: Whoa. Holy hell. Front paged. Thanks, y'all

Update #2: Thanks everyone for all the views and comments! I'm really trying to make sure I respond to each and every one I get. I'm happy everyone seems to be enjoying the drawing and I hope I've done the game justice for all the fans who love and adore it. Thanks again, y'all!

Pico is always loved. It's one of the things that introduced me to Newgrounds in the first place. God I feel old.

Shadowcat5150 responds:

That's ok. If it makes you feel better, I act old sometimes :P

Classy. :D Perfect cover. Was just wondering about the JohnnyGuy cameo in the corner there at first but aha! it makes sense now! XD This finna go down through history as one of the iconic ones. Official cover for the official OST for the one and only!

Shadowcat5150 responds:

Thanks so much! I was really hoping to capture the essence of the game! :3

To be honest, It kinda looks like those 90s hip hop album covers. But pretty cool tho!! <3

Shadowcat5150 responds:

I'm glad you like it. Guess colored pencil just has that effect. :)

Pico: the movie.

Shadowcat5150 responds:

That'd be interesting

it looks so beautiful, like it came from a ps1 game

Shadowcat5150 responds:

Thanks! That's an interesting thing to compare it to.
