I made this fake comic book cover but im NOT ACTUALLY MAKING a comic, this drawing and project was for funsies.
The story is about a young man who gains super powers when he falls asleep: Or more accurately, his brain releases chemicals that cause a reaction allowing him to enter a dream dimension, sitting above/ parallel to/ alongside our own, where he can phase in and out of objects and people in order to manipulate the real world. The dream world is a slippery place where the mind alters things, creates machinations, unleashes past traumas, and distorts reality, perception, and judgement. So the powers come at a price, and run the risk of causing more damage than healing.
The comic plays out in a manner in which the reader is having to make the same distinctions between reality and surreality as the hero, and as with the nature of dreams, anything can happen, and things can shift in an instant.
Can the hero combat his own demons, and overcome the trials his brain creates in order to use his inescapable powers for good? What threat will arise, bringing in revelations, and conflict, and how can it be stopped? You'll literally never be able to find out cause SgtPooter don't do backgrounds, and he don't do writing.
