Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein Monster, from "Son of Frankenstein." This wasThis is my first serious attempt at using Corel Painter 12, or any digital package for that matter, to do a portrait. My usual medium is oil paints. Anyway, this was created in using digital oil, pastels and a little ink.

Great job! I'd be curious to use Corel Painter, it seems you can get really cool textures with it. Anyhow, your form and lighting are good, the colors and sense of solidity work well, overall you've doen a great job! Keep up the good work

good stuff, i like the grainy quality, like on a canvas. a very interesting portrait, reflects the inner kindness and sincerity of Frankenstein while retaining the actor himself. Wonderful colors, great depth. I love it!
