Lovely
Love your crisp yet washed-out style. Brilliant character design! Great conveyance of emotion in there, and beautiful handwriting. I could so easily see this in a book of short children's stories.
This is a short children's book-esque project I made last year for my beginning illustration class. The theme was "explorer", so I created a guy named Nicholas and stuck him in the woods. Dooder was already in my head by then, so I stuck him in the book as well. Then, while working on the Dooder game, I decided that Nicholas would make an awesome supporting character! Thus, Nicholas was born.
FYI, Dooder is a little older here than in the game. The story is technically part of the Dooder "cannon", but more of a spin off...
man, I'm a nerd.
