It looks really childish and cute, mainly because of the distance between the eyes, the lack of any detail on the eyes (which give it an extremely vacant look) and the drool. These child like elements clash with the nature of the drawing, in which the figure's head and arm are dismembered, creating an ironic effect.
I really like the style of this drawing, the black background and shading fit it perfectly. Rather atmospheric for being so simple.
Im a big fan of the "madness" series, and this has a similiar style so I really like it.
I dont know why he doesnt have legs, but the look on his face is really "dead" wich is awesome. Keep em coming.
Awesome, thanks for the review :D
Close to being good
Well the colouring is done top-notch, i must mention that before anything.
It does look like its missing some sort of structure to the body, its very off. Even cartoony characters have equal arms and legs. Then to the head, nice colouring again. But try to keep an eye on the details: like the brain and the shape of the head; It looks like he is tilting his head, but his eyes didnt move.
Nice work, keep improving
Awesome :) I see what you're getting at with the unequal arms. thank you, and I'll keep that in my mind when my damn tablet is fixed.
i kinda like it. Like, the shadings correct and all that, the black in the back with the white outline is cool, but it seems like its missing somethin' or something. Looks cartoony, which i'm sure you were goin' for, but maybe if you finished it all the way, it would look more complete. i like it, but, it seems like there should be more. I havent been scouted yet, but it gave me the option to "recommend for art portal" which I dunno is a glitch or not, but once I get scouted, i'll be sure to scout you. Oh, and again, nice work.
Yeah, I agree with you when you say it's missing something.
Thank you for the fair and helpful review and I'll be sure to finish this like you said.
Too bad I lost my damn tablet pen >:(
