This is incredible! Devoid of color, the use of tone gives great depth and contrast. And (what I interpret as) movement conveyed by the lines crossing the painting, certainly imparts a notion of chaotic struggle. The mask itself seemingly at odds with the figure due to it's relative clarity while simultaneously concealing the darkest aspect of the subject; the hidden true face. Although covered by a plain expression; given the tilt of the head, the fingers prying at the mask, and the tendrils of blackness that worm their way from beneath it, these events collectively demonstrate powerful anguish, or a sad, hopeless rage.

I find the piece inspiring and commend you on the continual development of your (already amazing) artistic talents, I appreciate the all the effort you devote to this avenue of your life and am very thankful that you take the time to share your creations with strangers online.
