Had this idea before I was inspired to draw the Guardians of the Galaxy piece. I loved the idea of showing the grim process of a necromancer gathering his army one by one. It's time consuming, hard labor for hours until you have a full army, dependent on how strong of a sorcerer you are I imagine. And it's also the picture perfect example of conscription, pulling this soul out of the ether and into this hollow, unwilling life after death to be a participant, a victim in a war you didn't sign up for. A hostage in your own body. The idea of necromancy to me encapsulates conscription perfectly.
