Sinistar On Steroid

Share

That thing scared the shit out of me as far as I remembered having my siblings and cousins play this game on the Snes back in the days...

I decided to create this type of pixel art after thinking of an idea of how awesome Sinistar will look like if he is inspired by Cave games so this is the result.

Made in Gimp.

I know that 1-hit kill enemies are infuriating. But I can't that this is AWESOME! Also, if shouldn't the title of this art be named "Sinistar on Steroid", rather than "Sinistar in Steriods".

Thanks for the tip. I should've make sure to check before uploading it.

RUN RUN RUN RUN.

ScepterDPinoy responds:

*trademark scream*

damn i remember back then i tried playing this once and i had a Crazy Nightmare with him in it. . . Damn thing still Haunts me Today

ScepterDPinoy responds:

That Blargg from Yoshi Story made me his bitch that gave me nightmares in terms of appearance. His face on a mechanical star complete with a voice just left a scar of my moments in life... Sinistar from Unleashed was a joke and not as intimidating.

I...HUNger.
RUN! CowARD!
RAAAARGH!

ScepterDPinoy responds:

*chomps spaceship*

Beware, i live! I Hunger, coward! Run, Run, Run! etc

Hard to believe that thing is as old as i am, you'd probably be perfect for a remake :3

ScepterDPinoy responds:

As a designer it is my duty to remake the good old days in 2D mockup. :) I'll probably do Space Invaders next.
