A Christmas Carol in pixels

Author Comments

Bah humbug to the tedious time consumption and discomfort when making this art...

Anyways this is my pixel art that I created to celebrate Christmas. This image is based on Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" which I added random characters from films, live action, and animation that followed the Christmas Carol trend. I will set this as my wallpaper this winter.

I also added characters from Megaman Christmas Carol Remix which is a good thing to pay tribute to Sprite Inc for creating an awesome flash game. The flash game I remembered was Megaman vs. Metroid and Megaman vs. Ghost and Goblins.

Made in MS Paint and Gimp. Reference is used.

I don't really understand a lot of the referencing, but I love to look at the colors and designs anyway. They're all very interesting and flashback provoking. Great work ScepterD

This makes me wish there were a game of a Christmas Carol out there. Really cool man, and I love you for including the Muppets Christmas Carol ghosts

ScepterDPinoy responds:

Why thank you. I just added them to pay tribute to our childhood.

You too. Why thanks for the comment! :)

Deadpool looks like spiderman, and seraphim have 6 wings not 4. Other than that, this is a great little pixelart

ScepterDPinoy responds:

Thanks.
