Blue Mew

Share

Trying to get back into some artsy stuff, I reeeeally wanted to draw a Blue Mew so I did! I made a few new brushes on SAI and learnt a few different ways to approach digital painting, also explored colour theory a little more too. I'm not overly happy with it though @@ Areas are still not as defined and natural as I hoped, particularly the tail area.

With the background, I was aiming for those old shiney Pokemon trading cards you'd get with the sparkely and glittery style back in the first edition days (Example: http://images.bidorbuy.co .za/user_images/010/425Po kemon_Charizard_Holofoil_
Trading_Card_%5BFree_Ship ping%5D.jpg ) do miss these kind of cards :( Much better than that weird flat multi-coloured backgrounds nowadays.

Anyways hope ya all like it :)

Blue "Shiny" Mew

Duuude, thats fucking awesome.

Great job

Just had to post

Very good, even looks like it has some scratches from being put in a deck. And also, Dreadlock, Mew doesn't evolve into Mewtwo. And if it does in these new "Ultra-Extra-Super-Shiny versions of the game, They need to be sued for not knowing their own lore.

Yay!

Very good lighting! It shows the expression that mew gives before it becomes a fearsome mew2.

This picture gives off the innocence that mew has!

awesome!

its about time someone showed some pokemon stuff aroun here...

Good

I like the perspective of the character and design besides the color range is well combined.
