Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of April we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 62 people to reach our goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in May!

Bob n Doug vs Horrible Goose

"Take off, Goose!"

(This might be the most Canadian reference I've ever drawn, haha.)

For those who aren't familiar with these good ol' boys: Bob and Doug McKenzie are fictional Canadian guys from SCTV the series, the movie Strange Brew, and that Christmas Carol about beer. They're the epitome of Canadian stereotypes, and super endearing to watch.

I drew this during Inktober, but haven't had time to clean it up in Photoshop until now.

It's up on my Redbubble store as well, if you think it might make a good shirt / sticker / tote bag.

ANYWAY, if you're not Canadian and you've got a Canuck friend you wanna show this to, they'll probably recognize these guys if they're over 25.

Hope you like 'em, too!

I love this xD

Oh man, I didn't grow up in Canada but my friend who did had some episodes of this show! We hung out one night and watched it a ton, brings back good memories! 😸 Nice work!!

Nice throwback!

Five stars for the astonishingly clear minamalist depiction of these Iconic characters and perfect capture of the game's artstyle! Legibility is a major part of minimalism and you've acomplished it with flying colours! Also I gotta love an SCTV reference!

Well done Sab
