The Tough Truth

Author Comments

My hand is cramping from painting this one lol. Sorry for the long absence in the way of art, but here is my next one, The Tough Truth. This image is gruesome, but the inspiration is from what the reintroduction of wolves has done to the the wildlife in Idaho. Yes, Wolves are beautiful, but so are Elk and Moose.

Thank you Newgrounds for front paging this!!! You're awesome =D

Love it

These are really good I like the smoothness of all your work and all the shading that you really bringout and the added color doesn't hurt, very impressive stuff you have here hope to see more like this.

Nothing to improve as I found it perfect.

Thank you!

It is so captivating!!! And the hair texture is FREAKING AWESOME! Although I think the body doesnt make sense. Is it some kind of animalistic pose or anthropomorphic one? Still amazing work!

RussFairchild responds:

Thank you! Ya it has some disconnect, i'm gonna take another go at it and try to get a more wolf feel. Thank you =D

Is there really anything to say but WOW!? No? Thought so. WOW. The expression on this wolfs face is truly amazing. The blood is like the cherry on top. Someone must give you a hug and they must give you one now. Have a good rest of your day sir and I hope to see more amazing works like this in the future.
